Junior Achievement helps
kids dream. JA also brings relevance to those dreams by providing the tools kids need to
make their dreams become reality.Since 1919, Junior Achievement has made an impact on
more than 30 million young people by educating and inspiring them to value free
enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives.
Junior Achievement currently reaches more than 3.5 million students across America
through programs in grades K-12. JA's ultimate mission is to ensure that every child in
America has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system so that they are
prepared to meet the challenges of the global economy.
Junior Achievement has 163 offices in the United States, serving 20,000 communities. We
also span the globe with offices in 97 countries. Our international programs provide help
and business guidance for students from Argentina to Western Samoa. Through our
volunteers, we empower young people and teach them essential lessons about building
careers and valuing free enterprise. Junior Achievement is building a better world, one
student at a time.
The U.S. Business Hall of Fame recognizes the outstanding achievement of
those who have helped mold our free enterprise system, and who continue
