Timex, the watch that takes a lickin' but keeps on tickin' , is
expected to roll out a space-age athletic watch in April. Using
satellite technology, the "Ironman Speed & Distance System" watch is
expected to retail for $225 and measure time and distance to a 99-percent accuracy. As
long as the athlete is outside, the watch will be able to measure any forward movement
such as running, horseback riding or boating, according to Timex. |
